
Dantri grants scholarships to disadvantaged students in Ha Giang Province on May 28.
On the afternoon of May 28, Dantri Newspaper, in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Vi Xuyen District in Ha Giang Province, held a scholarship award ceremony for students from disadvantaged families and those with relatives who contributed to the nation, in celebration of International Children’s Day on June 1.

Thirty scholarships, each valued at VND 500,000 (approximately USD 20), were awarded to students at Vi Xuyen High School, Ly Tu Trong Secondary School, and Cao Bo Semi-Boarding Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.
Speaking at the event, Dantri’s Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Nguyen Xuan Toan, expressed the editorial board’s deep concern for underprivileged communities in remote and mountainous areas.

"Among the recipients, some suffer from serious illnesses or disabilities, while others face extremely difficult circumstances," he said. "We sincerely thank the readers and Dantri for their kindness. We will remind the students to use the scholarships to buy school supplies and clothing. This support will ease the financial burden on their families as they prepare for the new school year.”
