Dantri's Deputy Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Xuan Toan gives presents to families of war dead and wounded soldiers in the northern province of Hai Duong on January 14.
Dantri's Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Nguyen Xuan Toan, joined with the Permanent member of the National Assembly's Committee for Science, Technology and the Environment, Nguyen Ngoc Son, and leaders of Hai Duong Province to visit and give presents to 50 families in the two districts of Cam Giang and Kim Thanh on January 14.
During his visit, Toan highly appreciated the families' sacrifices in defending the country's independence and sent his best wishes to them for the new year.
"Your great contributions have helped bring us a peaceful life and freedom and we're proud of you," he said to the families. "We want to send our sincere thanks and best wishes to you for the new year ahead."
Dao Quang Dinh, a local family's representative said that he was moved to tears to receive love and care from the Party, Government, and Dantri Newspaper.
