Yen is undergoing treatment at Nghe An Orthopedics Hospital
Tran Thi Yen, 21, in Loc Thuy Commune, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province, entered the tiger enclosure on August 23 at the Muong Thanh Eco-tourism Area in Nghe An Province’s Dien Chau District.
Yen and some of her family members got lost and wandered into a prohibited area near the white tiger cages.
She climbed a low wall and clung to the cage to watch the tigers along with some other visitors,when one of the tigers attacked her, biting off her arm.
Yen is undergoing treatment at Nghe An Orthopedics Hospital.
