Australia's Maritime Border Command (MBC), a multi-agency task force within the Australian Border Force (ABF), on April 12 said they and the Australian Fisheries Management Authorities have captured a Vietnamese fishing boat with 15 fishermen for allegedly illegal fishing.

The vessel was spotted by a surveillance aircraft of MBC on April 6 near Saumarez Reef in the Coral Sea Conservation Park of Australia, then being boarded by the ABF on April 10.
Upon searching the vessel, ABF’s officials discovered a large volume of sea cucumber. The boat and crewmembers have been escorted to Gladstone in Queensland State.
