Vietnamese businesses with workers in nations surround the Ivory Coast have been warned to pay close attention to their employees.

The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA)’s Department for Overseas Labour Management said that special attention should be paid to fishing vessels and other marine labourers.
These enterprises must make a lists of their crews and send them to the department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) before April 10.
Vietnamese workers actually stationed in the Ivory Coast are encouraged not to gather in crowded places, or anywhere clashes might occur, the department said.
The families of those workers who have been sent to the Ivory Coast or surrounding nations have also been urged to contact the department, MOFA and the Vietnamese Consulate in Morocco for further instruction.
