Vietnam tracks passengers on more flights with Covid-19 patients

Vietnamese authorities are seeking all passengers who boarded seven flights to Vietnam between March 15-20 that carried Covid-19 cases.

They are direct flights to Vietnam or those which were connected from Covid-19-hit areas of Qatar, Russia, Thailand, Japan and Brunei to Vietnam.

The flights consist of:

Emirates Flight EK364 from Dubai to HCM City on March 15

Aeroflot Flight SU290 from Moscow to Hanoi on March 15

Thai Airways Flight TG560 from Bangkok to Hanoi on March 15

Royal Brunei Airlines Flight BI 381 from Brunei to HCM City on March 17

Emirates Flight EK392from Dubai to HCM City on March 19 

All Nippon Airways Flight NH831 from Japan to HCM City on March

Japan Airlines Flight JL751 from Tokyo to Hanoi on March 20

The Ministry of Health has asked that all passengers on these flights contact the provincial or municipal centres for disease control immediately for instructions on health monitoring.

Ticket agents are responsible for notifying passengers who purchased tickets for these flights.

To date, Vietnam has confirmed 134 Covid-19 cases with 17 discharged from hospital.
