The Ministry of Health recorded no new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday morning, following hundreds of patients detected since July 25 when the Danang outbreak started.
As of 6 am Wednesday morning, Vietnam had registered 989 Covid-19 cases, including 649 community transmissions.

To date, 525 patients have been discharged from hospital. The country registered the 26th death related to Covid-19, all having serious underlying diseases such as kidney and heart failure and diabetes.
The country has reported up to 509 infection cases since July 25 when Danang City began facing the pandemic outbreak.
Currently 81,585 people are under quarantine in Vietnam.
