Vietnam vehemently condemns the terrorist attack at Kunming Railway Station in China’s Yunnan province on March 1.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Hai Binh made the statement on March 2 in reply to reporters’ queries on Vietnam’s response to the recent terrorist attacks that left many dead and injured.
“We extend our deep sympathy and condolences to the Chinese Government and people as well as bereaved families. We believe that the culprits must be dully punished,” the official said.
More than 130 people were dead and injured in a mass stabbing attack on the night of March 1 at Kunming railway station.
Chinese authorities have claimed the incident a violent terrorist attack that had been planned.
