Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang led a Vietnamese delegation to visit China on October 26 at the invitation of Chinese counterpart Guo Shengkun.
As scheduled, General Quang will co-chair the 4th bilateral conference on cooperation in crime prevention and fighting between the two public security ministries.
The conference will review the situation and assess results of cooperative efforts in crime prevention and fighting and order and security maintenance. The two sides will also agree on cooperative orientations from now to 2016 and the following years.
Vietnam and China take turns organising the biennial conference. The first conference was held in Hanoi in 2008, the second was in Beijing in 2010 and the third was in Hanoi in 2012.
