The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will operate 10 two-way direct flights between the Mekong Delta City of Can Tho and Taiwan using Airbus 321 aircraft which can carry from 100 to 130 passengers to meet the increasing demand during the upcoming Lunar New Year holidays.
According to Nguyen Phuc Dien, head of the airlines’ Can Tho branch, there will be five flights from Taipei, Kaohsiung, and Taichung to Can Tho and five in the reverse direction, with the first flight from Taipei to Can Tho scheduled for February 6 and the last on February 28 from Can Tho.
This is the sixth year that Vietnam Airlines has launched direct flights to serve passengers travelling between Can Tho and Taiwan during the most important annual holiday.
