The railway sector announced schedule changes on September 17, suspending the north-south SE19 and Hanoi-Danang JSE17 services that day.
The north-south SE20 and Danang-Hanoi JSE18 services scheduled for September 18 were also cancelled, along with the Hanoi-Vinh NA1/2 services on September 17.
Road transfers were arranged for passengers on services affected by flooding.
Passengers on the SE3, which was due to reach Bim Son at 10.05pm, were transferred to connect with the SE4 arriving in Thanh Hoa at 1.03am. Passengers on the SE1, arriving in Bim Son at 12.33am, were similarly transferred to connect with the SE2 reaching Thanh Hoa at 2.14am.
The SE10 service, due in Thanh Hoa at 11.50pm, was terminated there, with passengers transferred by road from Thanh Hoa to Bim Son alongside those from the SE4.
More than 250 passengers were transferred between Thanh Hoa and Bim Son on September 17 after flooding affected the Do Len-Bim Son section of the railway.
The railway operator said it was continuing to update train schedules and advised passengers to check official channels for the latest information.
