Two infrastructure projects near Tan Son Nhat Airport operational

Two projects in Ho Chi Minh City have been put into operation to help reduce congestion at the gateway to Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

This morning, January 23, the HCM City Management Board for Transport Infrastructure Projects officially launched two key projects near Tan Son Nhat International Airport, consisting of a road connecting Tran Quoc Hoan and Cong Hoa streets, and the expansion of Hoang Hoa Tham Street.

The Tran Quoc Hoan-Cong Hoa road project has a total investment of VND4.80 trillion (USD189.5 million), funded by the city’s budget.

Stretching approximately four kilometres, the road features six lanes, with 1.25 kilometres of the first phase already inaugurated.

Meanwhile, the Hoang Hoa Tham Street expansion project, stretching 800 metres, has a total investment of VND403 billion. The street provides access to Terminal 3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

The overpass in front of Terminal T3 project also became operational earlier.
