Three people were killed and two others injured after a passenger bus ran into a group of cyclists in the southern province of Dong Thap on Monday morning.

Three people were killed and two others injured after a passenger bus ran into a group of cyclists in Dong Thap Province on March 1.
According to a report from local police, the accident occurred at 5am when a passenger bus hit a group of 10 cyclists on National Road 54 in Lai Vung District.
"The bus then hit two electric poles and a tree on the roadside on the left," the report said.
One of the cyclists, Tran Van An, 69, died on the spot.
The bus was carrying four passengers and two of them died on the way to hospital while two others were seriously injured.
The bus was badly damaged in the accident.
