Thousands of people to be released from quarantine areas in Hanoi

Up to 1,893 people will be released home on March 10-12 after being quarantined in Hanoi for 14 days for Covid-19 virus prevention.

Up to 1,893 people will be released home on March 10-12 after being quarantined in Hanoi for 14 days for Covid-19 virus prevention.

Among those, 28 are South Korea residents and 284 are Vietnamese workers and students returning from South Korea.

They have been discharged from quarantine after being tested negative for 14 days.

According to Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, around 200 people are Hanoi residents, while the remainder are from other localities.

After returning home, these people’s health needs continual monitoring several days to ensure safety.

Bui Tuan Anh, 21, from the central province of Nghe An said that during being isolated, he and other people were given temperature checks twice a day. 

He expressed his great gratitude to quarantine areas’ management board for their considerate care.
