Tan Son Nhat International Airport
At a meeting on HCM City’s Covid-19 prevention and control on Thursday, an official from the Ministry of Transport said that flights repatriating Vietnamese people would be banned from Tan Son Nhat International Airport for around one week.
Since the Covid-19 outbreak, Vietnam has suspended international commercial flights. The country has only served flights to repatriate Vietnamese people and those transporting experts and diplomats. All passengers from these flights have to be quarantined and provided with Covid-19 tests as regulated on arrival in Vietnam.
HCM City has continued witnessing more Covid-19 cases related to the Revival Ekklesia Mission - a Christian church in HCM City’s Go Vap District.
