A car collecting singer and model Ho Ngoc Ha at Tan Son Nhat International Airport jumped the footpath outside the arrivals terminal and slammed into a group of people last might (February 10), injuring 10.

Police said the Audi sedan was at the airport to pick up Ha, and as her luggage was about to be loaded, it lurched forward at speed, jumped the curb and crashed into a group of 11 people waiting outside the terminal. Two other cars were damaged in the incident.
Five people were seriously injured, while another five sustained minor injuries. All were taken to hospital. Ha was standing behind the Audi when the accident occurred.
Police said the driver's foot apparently slipped from the brake pedal onto the accelerator pedal. Investigations are continuing.
Representatives of Tan Son Nhat Airport were sent to the hospital to check on the condition of the injured, and gave them each VND3m to cover initial costs.
