The incident occurred at around 5:30 on Chanh River in Quang Yen Town.
The area where the boat sank
The fishing boat with six people on board capsized due to strong winds and rough waters. Two women managed to swim ashore and were rescued, but four others remain unaccounted for.
The boat was found drifting in the middle of the river at around 10 am this morning.
Quang Yen authorities have mobilised 250 people for the search.
