A man has just been banned from flights for six months after slapping a Vietnam Airlines stewardess following his suspicion of her stealing his phone.
The business-class passenger found his mobile phone Iphone 6S lost when Hanoi-HCM City flight VN255 landed at Tan Son Nhat Airport on August 13.

The man said that after waking up he did not see his mobile phone on the folding table. When he called his number three times, the phone still rang, but it did not ring any more for the next call. Suspecting the flight attendant having stolen the phone, he hit her in the face.
Around 20 minutes later, the phone was found under his seat.
The passenger admitted his mistake and accepted the fine of VND15 million (USD714). The Southern Airports Authority has also banned him from flights for six months.
