Paragliders to fly from Son Tra Peninsula

Pilots from clubs across the country will compete in a paragliding race on Son Tra Peninsula this week as part of the city's International Fireworks Competition.

Paragliders from Danang, HCM City and Hanoi will compete at 8am on this weekend for the Da Nang Paragliding Club's Individual Fun Play Award, according to Duong Hien Hoang, the club's chairman.

Twenty competitors will take off from Ban Co Mount, 573m above sea level, and land on Man Thai Beach after flying for 5km.
