The rainy weather would last until the end of May 15 and after that northern localities would see hot days again.
On May 11-12, many areas in the northern and northern central localities would have a rainfall of 20-40mm. Some areas would see a rainfall of up to 90mm.
The National Centre for Hydrometeorological Forecasting reported that over the month to come, the northern and northern central regions would have more rains compared to the same period of previous years.
Mean while, the central and Central Highlands regions have been forecasted to witness further drought which would cause more erosion, particularly on May 12-20.
The prolonged drought has badly affected crops and hydropower plants’ operation.
