Also the on the same day, one of the branches of the flyover on Nguyen Thai Son Street was opened. This flyover will help ease the congestion at the Nguyen Thai Son-Nguyen Kiem-Hoang Minh Giam roundabout.

Trinh Linh Phuong, deputy head of Urban Traffic Management Board 3, the investor in the projects, said the N-shaped flyover at the intersection would have three branches and they had completed one. They would continue building another branch at this roundabout to completely solve the congestion problem.

Le Van Khoa, deputy chairman of HCM City, praised the investors and construction firms. The two flyovers were built from the city’s emergency funds and were completed two months earlier than scheduled.
