The flight was arranged by authorities in the two countries and the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines.
The passengers include children under 18, elderly people, workers with expired working contracts, students completing study, and stranded tourists.
This was the fourth flight organised by the government to repatriate Vietnamese citizens from Canada since April.
Right after landing at the airport, all the passengers and the flight crew members were given health check-ups and then sent to quarantines areas in Quang Nam Province in accordance with current regulations.
Danang Nang International Airport has received many flights to take Covid-19-affected Vietnamese people to return home.
However no more international flights will be allowed here after the city detected two after two residents have been confirmed positive for the virus over the past two days.
The Danang Municipal People’s Committee has issued a range of measures to prevent community transmission of Covid-19, including temporarily suspending festivals, religious rituals, sports events, as well as operation of non-essential services like karaoke, massage, and discos.
Also on July 25, more than 240 citizens brought home from Singapore and over 190 others returned from Japan.
