The second case was a 64-year-old woman who was moved to Sa Dec General Hospital on June 10. On June 28, she tested positive for Covid-19. She was diagnosed with pneumonia, heart failure, diabetes and hypertension and also died on Sunday.
On July 2, Dong Thap confirmed the first Covid-19 death, an 81-year-old woman who struggled with several serious underlying diseases.
Meanwhile, the central province of Nghe An has also recorded its first Covid-19 death, a 71-year-old woman with underlying diseases. She died on Sunday at midnight after the 12-day treatment at Nghe An Friendship General Hospital.
The southern province of Binh Duong also confirmed its first Covid-19 fatality, a 64-year-old woman in Thu Dau Mot City. She died on Sunday.
