According to the police in Nam Tu Liem District, the Chinese residents lived in nine apartments of the Florence apartment block on Tran Huu Duc Street’s Cau Dien Ward.

The Chinese citizens have been found illegally living at Florence apartment block
Initial investigations show the group illegally entered Vietnam and rented at the building to live.
They were sent to a quarantine site for Covid-19 prevention. Concerned agencies also sterilised the apartment block and nearby apartments.
The case is under further investigation.
On the same day, Hanoi locked down an apartment block in Hoang Mai District where a Covid-19 female staff member at a bar in the northern province of Vinh Phuc was living at.
She was among the six Sunny Bar staff who had contacted the virus from a Chinese expert.
Earlier, a group of Chinese experts came to Vietnam and finished their 14-day quarantine period on April 23. But, instead of self-isolating in their residence for another 14 days, they went to localities including Lai Chau, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang and Lang Son.
On April 24, they came to Sunny Bar in Vinh Phuc and came into contact with staff there. As a result at least six staff members have tested positive for Covid-19.
