Covid-19 test carried out in Ha Nam Province
According to the Ha Nam Department of Health, the 28-year-old man in Ly Nhan District’s Dao Ly Commune returned to Vietnam from Japan on April 7 and was quarantined in Danang City for 14 days. After being tested negative for the virus for two times, he was allowed to return home on April 22.
On April 24, he displayed the symptoms of a sore throat and fever. He was then provided with a Covid-19 test by the Ha Nam Provincial Centre for Disease Control which showed a positive result on April 27.
The man took a coach and a taxi on the way from Danang to his house. Up to 32 people who had close contact with him have been defined.
Dao Ly Commune has set up three Covid-19 checkpoints.
