Two men arrested for drug trafficking
The border guards in Quang Tri Province had worked with the authorities in Laos' Savannakhet to arrest two men who were trafficking 215,000 pills into Vietnam at 3.30 pm on October 3.
24-year-old Savat Dixay Nhaxombat from A Leng Village and Banpachit Keovilayvong from Khun Sa Village were caught. The police also seized two cars, four mobile phones and many documents. The men are part of a sophisticated drug trafficking ring.
The border guards of Quang Tri Province have completed the reports and transferred the men to Lao authorities for further investigation.
