According to police, Lam Dong Province currently has 505 locations and areas at risk of being affected by natural disasters. Of these, 127 areas face flood risks, while 378 are vulnerable to subsidence and rock and soil landslides, including many high-risk points along key mountain passes such as Bao Loc, Prenn, Mimosa and D'ran on National Highway 20, Dai Ninh Pass on National Highway 28B, and Gia Bac Pass on National Highway 28.
Areas at risk of flooding and flash floods are spread along rivers, streams, irrigation reservoirs and low-lying areas in many localities across Lam Dong Province.
Police advised residents in areas vulnerable to landslides, flash floods and flooding to closely monitor weather developments and proactively take preventive measures to ensure safety.
At the same time, authorities urged residents to notify relevant agencies when they detect signs of danger so that specialists can respond and ensure safety.
