The Khanh Hoa Provincial People Committee and Hoan Vu Saigon Joint Stock Company reached a December 31 agreement designating Nha Trang City the host of Vietnam’s Miss Universe 2014.
The prestigious beauty pageant will select Vietnamese representatives for annual Miss Universe competitions.
The organising board has stated preliminary rounds will take place in Hanoi, Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Sixty candidates will be chosen to compete in the semifinal in Nha Trang City. Diamond Bay Resort & Golf will host the final.
The pageant’s winner will take home VND200 million. First and second runners-up earn VND100 million each.
