On the morning of June 29, the National Convention Centre hosted a conference to announce the capital master plan with a 100-year vision and promote investment in 2026, attended by more than 1,000 delegates, including about 700 domestic and foreign investors and businesses.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Hanoi leaders visit the exhibition area.

At the conference, the city will hand over investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates for projects in the city, and exchange memorandums of understanding with domestic and foreign conglomerates and economic organisations.

As part of the conference, the city arranged an area introducing the Hanoi capital master plan with a 100-year vision, displaying a model system combined with 3D mapping projection technology, introductory videos and planning maps to visualise major development orientations and vividly depict the capital's new spatial structure.

Hanoi Party Secretary and head of the Hanoi National Assembly delegation Tran Duc Thang, along with other leaders and delegates, visit the exhibition area.

One highlight of the conference was the launch of a data management system and 360-degree digitalisation of investment-attraction projects across the city.
Leaders from ministries and sectors, international organisations, economic experts and the business community will present proposals on solutions to attract investment, as well as cooperation opportunities in key sectors such as finance, urban infrastructure, education and innovative start-ups.

This is also the first time in many years that Hanoi has held a large-scale investment promotion conference, and the first conference to take place as the city enters a new phase of development with a full political and legal foundation and strategic direction from central resolutions, the 2026 Capital Law and the officially announced Hanoi capital master plan with a 100-year vision.
From a city long burdened by chronic overcrowding, Hanoi is moving towards a multi-centre development model, regional connectivity and growth leadership.
As strategic infrastructure routes take shape, new growth poles are activated and regional resources are connected more effectively, the capital will gain more room to accelerate and gradually affirm its position as a major development hub in Asia over the next century.

With a long-term vision, Hanoi is also aiming for greener and more sustainable development. Public spaces, green corridors, water surfaces and riverside ecosystems will become part of the future urban structure.

The capital master plan with a 100-year vision is expected to reposition Hanoi's role in national and regional development networks, opening up new spaces for connectivity with Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Haiphong and the wider Red River Delta region.
