The capital will also continue to strive to become a green, civilised and modern city with its own identities.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Hai noted that the capital fulfilled assigned politcal tasks, seeing fine economic growth and a 24% year-on-year rise of newly-established businesses.
In the second half of the year, agencies and authorities at all levels should closely follow directive resolutions and major working plans to fulfill set targets, particularly key tasks and projects to strive for 10%-11% economic growth, while intensifying State budget collection; facilitating production and business; enhancing measures to attract investment in infrastructural development; reviewing and simplifying administrative procedures; improving public sector performace; and building a transparent administrative system for people and businesses, the leader said.
Regarding the 2016-2020 socio-economic development plan, Secretary Hai stressed that targets and tasks should be reviewed thoroughly to ensure a consistency and balance of capacity and resources to realise strategic and long-term tasks effectively.
