The misty and wet weather has caused many difficulties for transportation in Hanoi.

Travellers have been warned of limited views and slippery roads. A fatal accident occurred on the Thanh Xuan Underpass on February 3 when a 17-year-old male student fell while driving a motorbike. Initial investigations showed that the young man slipped while driving at high speed on the wet surface.

It is forecasted that the drizzling and foggy weather would last until February 10 in the north with daytime temperatures ranging from 21-24 degrees Celsius.
