Hai Duong businesses resume operation.
Several services such as restaurants and hair salons can resume operation. However, they must follow strict preventive measures such as keeping customers at a safe distance and limiting the use of air conditioner.
Hai Duong authorities will continue banning gatherings of more than 20 people at public places and enforcing the rules that all travellers must wear face masks. Karaoke, gaming centres, gyms and cinemas will still be suspended.
Hien asked to maintain the operation of local Covid-19 prevention teams at residential clusters, pushed for more public awareness programmes and stricter punishments for violators.
The police and health departments must send more employees to ensure the order and operation of a quarantine centre at Hai Duong University. Villages and residential clusters that have positive patients will still be locked down but with suitable plans. New school year opening ceremonies at schools must follow preventive regulations and the number of students in each class should be kept as low as possible.
The city CDC was asked to build long-term plans and work with other departments to ensure efficiency. Employees who are related to the case in which three quarantined patients were released without second test results must be punished.
The outbreak in Hai Duong has been controlled. All confirmed patients at the outbreak clusters at 30 Ngo Quyen Street and Lien Hong Commune have been tested once or twice. From August 1 to 30, Hai Duong reported 20 confirmed patients and 5,507 people who had come into contact with them. The tests for 5,507 people have come back negative. 16 out of 17 patients who are being treated at hospital have also been tested negative once or twice.
