One person was killed after a car driver lost control and hit several motorbikes on Hanoi's Le Van Luong Street on November 20.
The scene of the accident
At 7.20 am, a car collided with another car and hit two motorbikes and a bicycle nearby. All of the vehicles caught fire and a 25-year-old woman on a motorbike died on the spot. A woman was seen running from a Mercedes GLC 250.
A witness said the Mercedes was running on Le Van Luong to Lang Ha Street when it suddenly collided with several vehicles. One of the motorbikes was carrying a gas cylinder and this allegedly was the cause of the fire.
The accident caused minor congestion and the road was blocked when the scene of the accident was investigated.
According to the police, the female driver went to the police after the accident. They are still investigating the case.
