Two Chinese fishing boats were found to have illegally-entered Vietnamese waters in Thai Binh Province on December 21.
Border officers in Thai Binh Province on December 21 reported that they found the Chinese boats operating 15 nautical miles northeast from Ba Lat Estuary.
"The boats are about 40 metres long and 10 metres wide with blue and white colours," the border officers said. "We used loudspeakers to ask them to leave our waters."
