A poor family in the central province of Ha Tinh is calling for public help as the mother is suffering from nasopharyngeal carcinoma, while his son is facing the death risk due to serious injuries after a traffic accident.
Nguyen Thi Thuy, 35 years old, now is in the final stage of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, staying at home awaiting death. Recently, her 12-year old son, Le Van Manh, had a traffic accident, causing him concussion, lung injuries and broken bones. The boy has lost his consciousness since being hospitalised 10 days ago.

His farther Le Manh Quang also faced an accident at work, leaving him with an injured arm. He has been trying to borrow money from different sources to pay hospital fees for his son; however he has only been able to borrow a modest amount.
The mother on the verge of death feels powerless. "I will die soon and my children are my hope, but fate has been cruel to my family," she said in tear.

Manh is a good student. Besides school time, he often catches crabs to sell to support his parents.
Doctors said that the treatment fees for Dat were costly, but his family can't afford. So, his life depends on the support from donors.
