According to director of Danang General Hospital, Le Duc Nhan, the patients showed negative for SARS-CoV-2 in three latest consecutive tests.
"They are now in stable condition with no fever and coughs," the doctor said, adding that the three will continue to be quarantined for another 14 days at home following regulations from the Ministry of Health. The two British tourists will be quarantined at a local hotel while waiting for necessary papers from the British Consulate General to leave the country.
According to a report from the Ministry of Health, the two British tourists were found positive for SARS-CoV-2 on March 8 while on a holiday in Danang City. They had been sought for and brought to hospital for the viral test after being found to have boarded the VN0054 flight with a Covid-19 patient from London to Hanoi on March 2.
The local woman who was also discharged today is a 29-year-old staff at a local electronic shop who served the two British tourists on March 7. She tested positive for the virus on March 10.
The local patient will continued to be quarantined at home for 14 days
Following the recovering of three first Covid-19 patients, there are three other patients being treated the Danang General Hospital.
The Ministry of Health on Thursday evening reported that 37 Covid-19 patients have shown negative for the virus at least once at local hospitals.
As of the morning of March 27, Vietnam reports 153 Covid-19 patients 20 of them have recovered.
