Bac Giang People's Committee has urged the rapid completion and implementation of Field Hospital 2 as the number of community cases continues to rise in Bac Giang. The field hospital will have 628 beds, of which eight beds will be for critically ill patients. Equipment for those eight beds will be installed on May 26.
The hospital is set up inside Bac Giang Stadium and fans will be used instead of air conditioners. The hospital also has an administrative area and quarantine area.
300 doctors and nurses arrived on May 26 for the training by Dr Ngo Duc Hung from Hanoi's Bach Mai Hospital.
Thanh Thuy, a nurse from a local hospital, said she felt happy and ready to volunteer to work at the field hospital.
