The ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance raised E5 RON 92 petrol by VND 1,260 per litre and E10 RON 95 by VND 1,450.
Following the adjustment, E5 RON 92 is priced at VND 26,390 per litre and E10 RON 95 at VND27,080 per litre.
Diesel rose by VND 550 to VND 30,490 per litre, while fuel oil increased by VND 280 to VND 19,470 per kg.
The authorities made no allocations to or withdrawals from the fuel price stabilisation fund in this adjustment.
Petrol prices have now risen for four consecutive adjustments, while oil prices have increased for three consecutive adjustments.
The fuel price stabilisation fund stood at more than VND 196.28 billion (USD 7.49 million) at the end of June, up over VND 1.22 billion from the beginning of the second quarter.
During the second quarter, more than VND 1.886 trillion was allocated to the fund and over VND 873 billion was used, while interest income exceeded VND 309 million.
