Due to the impact of the strike at Munich Airport from midnight on February 27 to 11.59 pm on February 28 (local time), Vietnam Airlines flights VN33 from Ho Chi Minh City to Munich on February 26, and VN32 from Munich to Ho Chi Minh City on February 27 have been rescheduled to avoid the strike period.
According to the airline, flight VN33 will have a new departure time at 11.50 pm on February 28 (local time) and flight VN32 at 11.10 am on March 1 (local time).
Due to chain effects on aircraft allocation and overall flight schedules, at least 16 domestic flights operated by Vietnam Airlines between March 1 and March 2 may be affected. Possible impacts include aircraft downgrades from wide-body to narrow-body planes, departure delays, or cancellations.
Vietnam Airlines has assured that affected passengers will be supported in accordance with regulations and has asked for passengers' understanding.

According to Vietnam News Agency correspondents in Germany, Cologne-Bonn and Düsseldorf airports were forced to shut down on February 24 due to 24-hour warning strikes by public sector workers. Nearly 300 flights were cancelled, and further delays, cancellations, or rerouted flights may occur.
The Verdi union, Germany's largest public services trade union, demands an 8 percent wage increase for public sector workers, a minimum raise of €350 (USD367) per month, higher bonuses for stressful jobs, and three additional days off.
Verdi has announced a two-day strike at Munich Airport from midnight on February 27 to midnight on February 28. The strike is expected to cause major disruptions, as security checks and ground services are among the affected sectors.
