Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate on a sustainable development programme for 2025-2030. Key investment areas include green tourism, transportation, and eco-friendly lifestyles.

Danang will launch a campaign encouraging fully electric vehicles, including cars, motorbikes, bicycles, and public transport in the transportation sector.

The city will explore the development of an electric bus route connecting Danang and Hue. It plans to integrate electric buses in the town, ensuring alignment with its green energy transition roadmap.

To support electric vehicles, the Danang People’s Committee will study the planning and installation of charging stations alongside mechanisms to facilitate the development of charging infrastructure across the city.

Additionally, the city will collaborate on carbon credit projects related to electric vehicles and charging stations, completing the registration of carbon credit projects on international trading platforms to ensure legal compliance and transferability.

Regarding eco-friendly living, both parties will explore the development of innovative, green urban areas, including social housing projects in Van Village and other locations. They will also examine mechanisms and policies for establishing a free trade zone and financial centre and opportunities for working together on research and technology development.
