Over 224 people were taken to Vung Tau Hospital, with the remainder sent to Vietsovpetro Medical Centre. A total of 140 patients have been discharged from the two facilities.
Three children who were in serious condition have shown improvement.

According to the local health department, the patients experienced abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhoea after eating sandwiches at CB Bakery in Ward 7 on November 26.
Vung Tau Hospital has issued a red alert and mobilised all doctors and staff from various departments to assist the patients.
Local authorities collected samples of all remaining food at CB Bakery and one vomit sample from the hospital for testing.
The police are working with concerned agencies to determine the cause of the incident.
All wards and concerned agencies in Vung Tau City have been asked to comprehensively inspect food service businesses within 20 days.
