According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, last night, October 14, rainfall amounts exceeded 50mm in several areas, including Dak Gan in Dak Nong with 95.6mm, Pham Van Coi (HCM City) with 64.0mm, Dong Trang (Khanh Hoa) with 59.5mm, Lam Thuy (Quang Binh) with 55.4mm, and Ho My Thuan (Binh Dinh) with 52.8mm.

This morning, October 15, the central, southern central, and southern regions witnessed scattered showers and thunderstorms. From this afternoon, localities from Ha Tinh to Binh Thuan, the Central Highlands, and southern regions will have rain, with a highest rainfall of 70-100mm.

Lightning and violent winds would happen during rain. Flooding and landslides would ravage some areas.

Meanwhile, northern localities will continue their streak of dry weather, with temperatures ranging between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius.
