About two weeks after receiving investment approval from the prime minister, SPA began advertising roles such as captains and first officers for Airbus A320 aircraft, flight dispatchers, finance and accounting specialists, and aircraft maintenance technicians.
The airline is also recruiting station managers and operations staff at key airports, including Noi Bai, Danang, Tan Son Nhat, and Phu Quoc.
Under its approved investment plan, SPA aims to operate a fleet of 31 aircraft by 2030, with a total investment of approximately USD 98.81 million. The airline plans to launch its inaugural flights in the fourth quarter of 2025, focusing on connecting Phu Quoc with major domestic and international economic and tourism hubs.
"SPA will link Phu Quoc with major cities and tourism destinations across Vietnam, such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang, as well as other key locations," a company representative stated. "We also aim to establish routes between Phu Quoc and major cities and tourist destinations in Japan, South Korea, China, and other potential markets in the region," they added.
