This year’s festival includes a series of new activities marking the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth.

Alongside traditional ceremonies such as flower and incense offerings at the Kim Lien relic site and Chung Son Temple, organisers will stage a 15-minute high-altitude fireworks display.

Additional attractions include night tours, fairs promoting local products, traditional craft villages and regional cuisine.

The programme will also feature parades, ao dai performances, folk games and cultural and sporting events inspired by President Ho Chi Minh’s childhood.

According to organisers, the night tour experience will combine music, lighting and storytelling centred on Nghe An culture, offering visitors a fresh perspective on the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh.
