“This year, we have also presented 115 cards to disadvantaged students in Daklak Province, 400 cards to children of members of the Hanoi Blind Association, and 209 cards to children of members of the Bac Ninh Blind Association today.”

On behalf of Dantri's editorial board, Hang thanked readers and Vietnamese and international donors for helping the newspaper maintain and expand its charitable programmes over the years.

Nguyen Xuan Hue, chairman of the Bac Ninh Blind Association, thanked Dantri's readers, its leaders and journalists, as well as donors, for their support.

“The timely support from Dantri's readers and donors is deeply meaningful,” Hue said. “It is not only material assistance but also a shield protecting children's health, helping families of people with visual impairments reduce their worries when their children fall ill.”

Nguyen Dao Quang Minh, an 11th-grade English-language student at Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, said he was deeply moved to attend the ceremony.
