The products showed signs of bearing counterfeit versions of well-known trademarks protected in Vietnam.
At the time of the inspection, Giang was unable to provide documents proving the legal origin of the goods, according to police.
Subsequent examination confirmed that the products were counterfeit goods bearing trademarks protected in Vietnam.
Investigators determined that Giang was neither the owner of the trademarks nor authorised by their owners to use or license them.
Giang admitted buying the counterfeit goods for resale in order to make a profit, police said.
