
Following their landing at Noi Bai International Airport, President Macron, his spouse Brigitte Macron, and members of the delegation swiftly proceeded to the Metropole Hotel.

After only a brief rest, the French President and his spouse left the hotel to walk along Hanoi’s bustling streets. Despite arriving late in the day, President Macron and his wife appeared cheerful and enthusiastic as they immersed themselves in the city’s vibrant atmosphere, enjoying both its scenic beauty and the warmth of its people.

Their first stop was the Ngoc Son Temple, a cultural landmark nestled in the heart of Hanoi, symbolising Vietnam’s rich heritage.


The nighttime visit not only underscored the President’s appreciation for Vietnam’s historical legacy but also set a meaningful tone for the official visit.

Following their visit to the temple, the French President and his wife continued their walk along the pedestrian streets surrounding Hoan Kiem Lake.

The lively ambiance and fresh evening air provided a glimpse into daily life in the Vietnamese capital.

President Macron was visibly friendly, smiling and waving to local residents who enthusiastically greeted him as he passed through the crowded streets.

By the time the clock struck 11 pm, the presidential couple concluded their stroll around the lake and made their way along Trang Tien Street back to the hotel.
