The event was opened on March 30 and is scheduled to run until April 5. It will feature key activities, including a farm trip for golf tour operators, the AGTC Golf Championship 2025, the Asia Golf Tourism Conference, and the IAGTO Awards Ceremony.
AGTC 2025 is expected to draw around 450 golf tour operators and travel agencies from 33 countries and territories, up from 350 participants at AGTC 2024 held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

It is the second time the city has held such a high calibre golfing event behind the first successful edition in 2017, which played alongside an APEC meeting.
According to Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Danang Department of Tourism, the event offers a prime chance for the city to highlight its tourism potential, particularly in golf tourism, while promoting its world-class services, luxurious five-star hotels and resorts, and natural landscapes.
Peter Walton, President of the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO), said that AGTC took place in Danang for the first time in 2017. At that time, there were only four golf courses in Danang and the central region. Today, Danang is home to up to eight world-renowned golf courses.
Danang has set a goal to welcome 12 million tourists this year.
