According to the committee, Binh Dinh is stepping up tourism development efforts. During the peak travel season (from June to September), the province has hosted a series of vibrant cultural, sports, and tourism events in recent years that have attracted many local and international visitors.

Due to its activities, the locality has sought CAAV and ACV's approval for more night flights between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phu Cat Airport from June through to the end of the year.

Binh Dinh has also approved the construction of a second runway and supporting facilities at Phu Cat Airport.
