Fire engulfs Dong Thap national park
A fire broke out at Tram Chim National Park in the southern province of Dong Thap today, June 11, affecting people who live nearby.

Roughly 200 people were mobilised to fight against the fire, including many local residents.
According to a representative from the national park, firefighters were trying to bring the fire under control.
No casualties have been recorded, but some properties belonging to local people have been damaged, he added.

Tram Chim National Park covering an area of 7,500 hectares is home to many precious bird species, especially the Sarus Crane.
